Artist Ciara Finnegan currently works as Director/ Care-Taker/ Administrator/ Publicist/ Housekeeper/ sometimes Occupant and occasional Gardener at The Dollhouse Space, a non-profit, biolocational, experimental contemporary art space based in cyberspace and geophysical space in Heemstede, North Holland.

Born in Northern Ireland in 1974, Finnegan holds a BA Hons Fine Art (University of Ulster, Belfast), an MSc in Interactive Media (University of Limerick) and PBR in the Arts Certificate (Stanford online). She is a previous recipient of various Arts Council of Ireland and Arts Council of Northern Ireland bursaries, including the Arts Council of Northern Ireland’s PS1/MoMA International Studio Artists Residency award (1998-1999). She lives and works in the Netherlands.
